To Whom It May Concern ,
My name is Atchara Kittikamjorn Haines. I am a Lawfull Permanent Resident of America. My permanent resident card (Green Card) number is A# 047593995. I have been married to Mr.William Anthony Haines whom is an American citizen, since May 18,2002.
I am currently reside in Homer, Alaska. I have been running a Thai restaurant business called Try My Thai since January 24, 2005. I am writing to you for the request to grant my son, (พิมพ์ชื่อลูกชายที่นี่นะคะ เอาวงเล็บออกด้วยค่ะ) a visitor visa to visit me (ลงวันที่เขาจะมาและอยู่ถึงเมื่อไหร่นะคะ เขียนเต็มนะคะ)
In 2001, I left my family in Thailand for USA as I married to an American citizen and immigrated to America. After I got here, my son; Jirawut Ketnirun has lost one of his eye sight due to the chemical burn. He lost his job due to the injured eye. Besides, he had to spend most of his time seeing his doctor. However, he was home schooling and finished his high school. Unfortunately, every time he visited his doctor, he would receive just the eye ointment and get another appointment without any progress or improvement of his eye's condition.
Lately, I told him to go see a vision specialist at Chulalongkorn Hospital since it is well-known for the vision specialists. Unfortunately, the specialist told him that they don't have the special equipment that needed for curing his eye. Every time I see his pictures and look into his eye, I feel so depressed because, as a mom, I should do something to help him. Therefore, I told him to apply for a visa to come visit me in order to get a right treatment and cure here in America, though I know that there is a very little chance for him to be granted a tourist visa to come to America to see me and to go to the doctor since he was unemployed.
In May of 2006, Jirawut applied for a visitor visa with a hope to come here for his eye's treatment and cure. However, his application was denied. He tried to find the job with the hope that it would help his visa application be granted. Finally, He got a job in his hometown. He worked as a salesman in a small grocery store which require him to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week without any overtime payment. It's against Thai labor laws. He decided to talk to the company. The outcome is that he was sent to another city to work for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.
In May 2007, he has a job offered with good salary as an activation officer, but required him to have his own car because he must drive to other locations for the job purposes. He got this job and I gave him some money for the car's down payment. After 4 months of working, his injured eye sight became worse that he cannot see things or objects clearly. I think it is because of the long period time of driving as well as the overload of the paper works from his company. I suggested him to quit a job and apply for a visa again. However, his company disagreed since he has to work until the end of the year as of the agreement. Or he has to pay 50,000 baht [$1,400] to the company. He cannot work any longer because his injured eye sight can cause a tragic accident to himself or to the other on road. Moreover, the company doesn't provide any life insurance.
Hence, I told him to quit the job and I will pay for that amount of money. So he can apply for a visitor visa to come get the right treatment here in America. There are many experienced Laser Eye Surgeons in the US, which I hope that they can help him before it is too late. After the cure, he will go back to Thailand to get a new job and to reunite with his family. He has 5-year-old and 7-year-old daughters. (ภรรยายังอยู่ด้วยกันหรือเปล่าคะ)
I will be his sponsor during his visiting in America and take a full responsibility of him and his expenses. I promise and guarantee with my honor that he will return back to Thailand before his visa date expires. There is no any reason to have him to stay after his visa expired. because when I become a US Citizen, I will apply for a permanent resident status for him so that he will be able to come live here and take over my business in the future.
I am fully knowing the penalty of bearing any false witness. Hereby, I affirm the foregoing to be true and correct and affix my signature in testimony of the foregoing request.
